A variation: The dice determines the colour and then the search for pairs begins. This is because one of 12 colours is hidden under each game piece, so that first the piece with the correct dice colour and then its counterpart must be found.
For 2-4 players

The Wooden Memory Matchstick Chess game (often referred to as Momo or Memory Chess) is a color-matching game designed to improve memory and concentration, typically for 2–6 players. The goal is tocollect the most pegs by remembering the colors hidden under each piece on the board.
Set Up
Place all 48 wooden pegs (with colored bottoms hidden) randomly into the holes on the wooden board.
Allow all players a few seconds to memorize the positions of the colors.
Game
Roll the Dice:The first player rolls the colored dice to see which color they need to find.
Pick a Piece:The player lifts one peg from the board.
Check Color:
If it matches:The player keeps the peg and rolls again.
If it does not match:The player returns the peg to the same hole, and the turn passes to the next player.
Memorize:All players should try to remember the colors of the pegs that were returned to the board.
Winning the Game
The game continues until all pegs are removed from the board.
The player with the highest number of pegs at the end wins.
Tips for play
Alternative Rule:Instead of just one color, some variations require finding a matching pair of colors.
Memory Focus:Success relies heavily on remembering the position of colored pegs that other players have already revealed.
